ELP Curriculum

Cultivate Virtues as Superpowers for Leveling Up, Action, and Mobilization

  • The virtue of Becoming a New Beginner is to prepare leaders to learn quickly and act effectively, in new and challenging situations, by developing a particular kind of mood that is a blend of humility, intense curiosity, and openness.

Benefits of developing this virtue include the reduction in mistakes and waste, reduction in the time required to learn new things, and the ability to pivot effectively and quickly when needed.

  • The third virtue of Generating New Context gives an emerging leader the ability to see and bring forth a new possibility to escape from stuck and resigned situations. Leaders and teams need meaning and context to thrive and produce remarkable results.

Benefits of developing this virtue include improvements in attracting, retaining, and energizing teams, setting and mobilizing bold missions at all levels of the organization, and providing leadership in challenging situations.

  • The fourth virtue of Navigating Moods is about building personal and team resilience and optimism and growing the capacity for dealing with change powerfully. Moods are our opinions about our future and are generally invisible to us. Our ability to navigate complicated challenges very much depends on our capacity for navigating moods in the situation.

Benefits include improvements in relationships and communication skills, productivity, and emotional fortitude.

  • The fifth virtue, Making Assessments, helps emerging leaders wake up to their blindnesses and biases and clear the way for making diagnostic assessments about their situations and next steps. The ability to make effective assessments matters a great deal in countering new and emergent situations.

Benefits include cultivating and practicing critical judgment without falling into analysis paralysis, disrupting resigned moods among teams, and developing deeper listening skills.

  • Breakdowns are inevitable. Your power and quality of work, career and life, depends on how you deal with breakdowns. Learn how to deal with breakdowns powerfully and produce breakthroughs.

  • Action moves worlds. However, Action is not what you might think—being busy, running around, etc. Here, you will learn a powerful language and a framework for taking action and generating results.

How It Works

The leadership virtues are cultivated continuously through ongoing peer group interactions, bi-weekly live calls with a master coach, and a breakthrough ontological curriculum. Here’s how it works:

Program Structure

  1. Pre-Survey Assessment:

Prospective participants start with a short pre-survey to self-assess and determine areas for growth. This provides a baseline on where participants stand in the leadership virtues covered in ELP.

  2. Private Online Community:

Participants are invited to join the private online community, where they engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and access exclusive resources.

  3. Biweekly Live Workshops w/ Coach:

Participants attend bi-weekly live coaching sessions—2-hour Zoom calls—alternating between group coaching with a master coach and smaller peer group discussions. These sessions include summaries of relevant topics, intensive Q&A, live coaching, exercises, and breakout rooms to foster trust and collaboration.

  4. Peer Group Participation:

On alternating weeks, participants join peer groups to explore challenges more intimately, share experiences, and support each other's growth.

  5. Breakthrough Curriculum:

Participants engage with a curriculum that includes video discourses, practical exercises, and reflective assignments designed to open new conversations and possibilities.

  6. Transformational AI:

Participants will have access to a specialized AI tool designed to track their growth, provide personalized insights, and support their leadership development journey.

  7. Ongoing Assessments:

Throughout the program, participants will engage in ongoing assessments to measure growth and development. These assessments help track progress and identify areas for further improvement.

This format ensures that participants not only learn but also integrate and apply the principles of leadership in their professional lives, continuously growing and expanding their potential.

Meet The Program Lead

“Hi, I am Saqib Rasool, the co-founder & CEO at Conceivian. As a serial entrepreneur, coach, and author, I started my career at Microsoft as an engineer. Later, I co-founded several startups, from raising millions in funding to exits, and built a start-up accelerator that has evolved into what is now Conceivian, an academy for leaders.

I see work and entrepreneurship as a way of being to deal with change, locating waves, and learning to navigate toward a better future. My passion for cultivating and mobilizing emerging leaders and changemakers led me to study human potential, action, teamwork, innovation, entrepreneurship, and power.

Over the last decade, I've had the privilege of assisting thousands in elevating their careers and finding joy and purpose in their work. My journey has shaped my unique approach to leadership development, and I look forward to sharing these insights with you.”

ELP Manifesto

Unleashing Potential

Today marks the beginning of a new era. We are launching the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) with a renewed focus on enterprises, careers, and human beings at work. Our conversation about career is a conversation about self. We believe the self is empty, yet alive with potentiality. We aim to investigate that—not spiritually or philosophically, but ontologically and existentially. We want to explore the being of work and how the self manifests in the professional realm.

Reimagining Work

Work is more than a means to an end; it's a fundamental aspect of our being. It connects us to the world, gives us purpose, and drives us to make a difference. We challenge conventional views of career and work, exploring how work intertwines with dignity, meaning, and the future. Our participants learn to see their careers not just as a series of jobs, but as a coherent, evolving narrative that reflects their deepest values and aspirations. This is about understanding what you think you are doing, how you think you are doing it, and bringing your whole self to it.

Building a Community of Innovators

ELP is not just a program; it’s a vibrant, supportive community. We are building this conversation from the ground up with a diverse group of dedicated participants who are seriously interested in the conversation about career. We bring together leaders who share challenges, gain insights, and build meaningful connections. The network you build here is everything, providing support, inspiration, and opportunities long after the program ends.

Fully Engaged Work and Upward Mobility

Engaging fully in your work unlocks a multitude of benefits. At ELP, we emphasize that being fully present and engaged in your professional endeavors leads to personal fulfillment and drives upward mobility. This deep engagement in work leads to natural career progression, promotions, and new opportunities, making upward mobility a powerful side benefit of living and working authentically.

Addressing Global Challenges

We live in a time of unprecedented challenges: water crises, refugee crises, educational gaps, and widespread health issues. Leaders have a crucial role to play in addressing these global issues. Our program equips you with the skills and sensibilities needed to confront these challenges head-on. By harnessing your potential, we aim to make a tangible impact on the world, creating a better future for all.

A Movement for Change

The Emerging Leaders Program is not just a course; it's a movement. We are dedicated to putting human potential to work, to confronting the significant challenges of our era with courage and innovation. Join us in this movement. Together, we can redefine leadership, transform careers, and make a profound difference in the world. This is the evolution of the power course, and you are a vital part of it. Let’s embark on this journey of transformation and growth, unlocking new possibilities and building a future we can all be proud of.
