Before participating in The Power Course, Rob was feeling stuck in his professional life and was unsure of how to define his career path. He had spent 10 years as a startup founder and was now in search of a new opportunity.

“I was stuck. In a number of professional aspects. I was part of a company that was struggling. And I was trying to find my way in terms of defining my career. I had spent 10 years being a startup founder. And then all of a sudden, I had to go and get a job.”

Breakthrough

During the course, Rob worked tirelessly on growing his skills for opening and navigating important conversations that led to new opportunities. He located an emerging market in AI cloud computing, and was invited by a 1000 person startup to join in a senior management role. Once there, Rob went to work and brought the skills he had been learning with us to his new team. He coached and invested in his people and designed new human-centered processes that benefitted the whole company. 

Rob's success and status are a consequence of the long, hard, and arduous work he has done on growing his capacities. He is now thriving in his role as Global Director of Client Technology Solutions for one of the largest AI cloud services in the world and has become a powerful team leader, whom peers and senior leaders trust.

Rob is an innovator of new AI - driven solutions for retail and e-commerce with a talent for developing strategic initiatives into actionable plans. Rob holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Seattle University.

He is currently in the midst of a streak of over 8,789 consecutive days without a bad hair day.

When he’s not creating innovations, his passions include riding his bike up big hills, delighting his family with his latest kitchen creation, and enjoying a big red wine from time to time while listening to his latest indy music obsession on vinyl.
